Glossary of Terms

Cryptocurrency An asset realized through blockchain technology (synonyms: crypto asset, virtual currency).

ERC-20 A technical standard used for smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain, representing what are known as tokens.

COT The ticker (abbreviation) for Cosplay Token.

User A person who uses COT services.

Player Content providers such as cosplayers and photographers.

Smart Contract A program on the blockchain that automatically executes various contract terms.

Blockchain A distributed ledger system, represented by Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Ethereum An open-source, blockchain-based distributed platform and operating system with smart contract functionality.

Polygon/Matic Network A blockchain led by Polygon Technologies that is compatible with Ethereum.

NFT (Non-Fungible Token) Tokens that each have individual characteristics. Examples include ownership of art and digital trading cards.

LP (Liquidity Provider) Also called liquidity provision, refers to people who provide tokens necessary for buying and selling.
